May I leave the clothes in my chest or dresser drawers?
Yes, Clothes and Linens may remain in the drawers of your furniture, but items like; books, video tapes, loose change, jewelry all firearms and ammunition should be removed. Please note: do not "pack" in your drawers. Clothing etc. that was already there is fine, but do not attempt to pack them with extras like pictures or collectables.

Should I take the drawers out of my furniture?
No, we don't take the drawers out of furniture unless it is absolutely necessary. One, because it actually weakens the furniture to move it without the drawers and Two, it creates more work.

May I leave the contents in my Refrigerator or Freezer?
No, Refrigerators need to be emptied into ice chests etc. prior to the move. Upright Freezers must also be emptied (unless you can lock them shut). The contents of a Chest freezer may remain in them.

How do you move hanging clothes?
We don't, unless they are contained in wardrobe boxes, suitcases or some other form of protective containment.

Do I have to empty file cabinets?
No, if they only contain hanging files etc., but if you could lock them that would be very helpful.

Do I need to empty my desk drawers?
Yes, items like paper clips, pens, pencils and other loose items tend not to ride well, when turned on end.

Will you disconnect and reconnect my icemaker or washer and dryer?
We will disconnect and reconnect the washer and dryer for an additional fee (usually $15.00 per pair) but we will only disconnect the icemaker (free) and not reconnect it. Icemakers are notorious for leaking and we are not plumbers.

Do my beds need to be apart? Mirrors off dressers?
You may dissasemble beds and remove the mirrors from dressers if you like. It will usually speed up your move. But, please be aware that we will only put back together what we took apart. If it is already apart we will not put it back together.

      Do you sell boxes?
No, if we did we would have to add tax to the move, but as a service only business, we cannot charge tax. You can find boxes at: Moving Boxes

Will the Movers remove their shoes in my new home?
Yes, if all of your furniture is inflatable. Actually, our policy mandates, that for our safety we cannot be shoeless and move heavy furniture and boxes. Nor can we be pushing dollies over loose plastic or blankets that have been put down on the floors. We will do everything in our power to keep your floors clean. One thing that you can do to help, is to be sure that your pathways and walkways are clean, free of mud and the sprinklers are not running.

What if I add some things the day of the move? Is there an extra charge?
Most people overlook something, or they have become tired and just want the movers to do it. That is perfectly okay with us. Of course, we will charge you to move the additional items, but we will not charge you double, as some do, for adding them the day of the move. If at all possible, if you forgot something large like your big screen TV, piano, pool table, or added something like 50 boxes we would like to know in advance so we can be prepared.

      Are you Bonded and Insured?
Yes, we are fully insured under Texas State Law, Department of Transportation #000537640B. We are not bonded. Bonding is for theft and since we are family owned and operated, we know where all of our people live (we don't hire off the street) and we will GO GET THEM!, should anything occur.
