Helpful Tips for a Better Moving Experience:
Through
the years, and our thousands of moves, our crewmembers have compiled a short
list of things
that they believe would assist you in making
your move go smoother, faster, and less stressful.
We have
listed some of them below for your use.

The Key is Organization! The better prepared you are the
faster and smoother your move will go.
If you
live in an apartment, try to remember to save a good parking spot for us.
If you live in a single family dwelling, remember to move your
cars before we get there.
Have your Hallways and Pathways and Sidewalks clear of hazards
including dirt and mud.
(Be especially
mindful of this at your new house and Please don’t run your sprinkler
system before we get there.)
Be very aware of your small children and pets.
(We would not want them to be injured
because we didn’t see them in our path)
Please have the furniture surfaces (i.e.: dressers, end tables, etc…) cleared and
ready.
Please, NO open topped boxes. Fold or tape boxes shut. We will not move them if they
are open.
Try not to pack anything except pillows and bedding, in plastic
trash bags. Never books!
We will not move clothes on hangers. All hanging clothes must be contained in boxes, luggage or
wardrobes.
Clothing and linens inside drawers may remain there but
please remove any books, videotapes, loose change or jewelry.
At
The New Location:
If we are sorting boxes by the room, label them with more than
just what is in them; add the new room location. If possible label them on all 4 visible sides. Do not label them with sticky notes.
Be Available
to your mover at the new location and know where you would like your items to
go before they get there.
Organization! Organization! Organization!
And Finally — Organization!
